Key tasks for alternatives evaluation and environmental review will be completed in about a year. Formal public hearings will be held in early 2013 to solicit comments on the draft environmental impact statement. Then the project team will prepare an application for submittal as part of the Federal Transit Administration New Starts application process. A final environmental impact statement is scheduled for completion in fall 2013. The final decision made by the Federal Transit Administration (the Record of Decision) is anticipated to be completed in early 2014.
