Green Line Public Scoping Meeting

The Federal Transit Administration and the Indy Connect Partners (MPO, CIRTA, IndyGo) are preparing an Environmental Impact Statement for the Green Rapid Transit Line (formerly known as the Northeast Corridor). Part of the Federally required process includes a public scoping meeting. While scoping meetings on this particular corridor were held as part of the original round of Indy Connect meetings in the spring of 2010, the EIS on the Green Line had been delayed due to the need to address broader transit funding issues and other planning issues. That process is now restarting, and due to the significant amount of time since the last scoping meetings and the changes in some of the alternatives being evaluated, a new scoping meeting is being held.

While much of the information being presented at this meeting will be similar to what has been presented at Indy Connect meetings during the spring and summer of 2013, this meeting does provide an opportunity to become updated on the Green Line if you have not been recently engaged and a chance to provide comments on the scope of the study.
